Studio
These are images taken in the studio using strobes and hot lights. I tend to shoot with available light, but sometimes I like to work in the studio.
Lion Dance
I was commissioned to film a lion dance in the summer of 2023, of a new lion made by a fellow artist, Vin Bui. I shot it on 8mm film and I took some photos of the lion on 35mm as well. To watch the lion dance video visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfZHWW4e5Rg
New York City
These are from my first trip to NYC from summer of 2022. They are all taken on film.
Breezeway Motel
I took the panoramic images when the motel was still opened in Fall of 2021. Then I took the medium format images when the motel closed in March of 2023. I wanted to capture the motel before it inevitably gets taken down in the rapid developing Fairfax.
Amsterdam
These are all film images taken on both on manual and point and shoot cameras. They were taken during the summer of 2022.
Retrospective (Senior Exhibition)
In this series I photographed five important places in my life. I shot on black and white medium format film on a panoramic camera. To see more from the series visit: Kaleidoscope
SOA Photos
These are photos I took for my fellow artists in the School of Art for their Senior Projects. I also took photos for the Center for the Performing Arts School, of the graphic design seniors and the studio art seniors for the graduation packet.
